Buckle Up for Room 24’s Rockin Ride on Their Newest Project, Interweave

by Joshua (J.Smo) Smotherman November 1, 2016 9:36 am Tagged With: Alternative, hard rock, Rock, Texas, United States

Room 24

Room 24 is one of the hardest rockin’, youngest band of musicians you have yet to hear about.

For the last three years, this power trio has rocked their way to the Top 10 Best U18 Bands in the Austin Chronicle’s Austin Music Awards Poll. The crew also won the 7th Annual Jam Fest back in 2014.

Combining elements of hard rock, metal and alternative, Room 24 delivers a powerful wall of frequencies interwoven with memorable melodies, some tasty in-your-face riffage, and a level of musicianship not typically seen in a group of musicians who fit into the “under 18” category.

Andy Cooper, James Caton, and Michael Cooper are the alternative, hard-rockin’, metal appreciators which make up the trio Room 24.

Their refusal to reduce their instrumentation to conventional chords and traditional progressions results in Room 24’s refreshing layer cake of sounds which focus on melody, harmony, and the culmination of three creative talents which have an undeniably, unfettered chemistry.

Interweave is the band’s newest EP and was released in September. I have actually jammed through and rocked out to this EP multiple times.

Obviously impressed, all I really have to say is… if these guys sound and play like this now; where do you think they will be in 12 months, 5 years…10 years?

Room 24 is a young band on the rise.

If you like tuning into bands before everyone else knows who they are, this is your chance to support some seriously skilled rockers!

Show your support and find a copy of Interweave on the band’s official website.

You can also connect with Room 24 on FB, Twitter or Soundcloud.
