Tyson Amir

Bay Area musician, author, educator, community organizer and freedom fighter Tyson Amir has released his debut book, a collection of poems, titled Black Boy Poems.

Black Boy Poems is a collection of pieces by Tyson which aim to uplift, empower, motivate and educate the African American community. However, these moving literary pieces need to be heard by everyone…no matter race, culture or creed.

With an unmatched wisdom, an unwavering heart and a dedicated soul, Tyson Amir is a beacon of light in what many are seeing as a darker and darker world.

Tyson’s analysis through Hip Hop infused prose is where the real revolution starts.

Considering I just returned home from the Time For Revolution Tour with my partners Mr. P Chill and Whorrifick, this was a timely submission for me to find after our week of travels.

True revolution starts within and Tyson Amir has risen to the occasion with this profound, revolutionary, insightful and self-awareness invoking collection of poems.

Black Boy Poems is available from Tyson’s website. You can connect directly with this creative mastermind on Twitter.
