All Night Boogie Band continue to carve out their own place in the blues and roots rock landscape with Shut Your Eyes and See, a 10-track collection that captures the band’s raw energy, soulful songwriting, and undeniable live chemistry.
Released July 3, 2026, the 36-minute, 33-second album showcases a group that has spent years building its sound through constant performance. Formed in 2021 in Vermont’s Green Mountains and now split between Vermont and New York City, All Night Boogie Band have developed a reputation for bringing an authentic, high-energy approach to blues, soul, and rock music.
Throughout Shut Your Eyes and See, the band draws from the traditions that shaped them while embracing their own voice. Influences like The Rolling Stones, The Allman Brothers Band, Tedeschi Trucks Band, and Lake Street Dive can be heard throughout the record, but the album reflects a group more interested in creating a feeling than recreating the past.
Recorded at VT Music Lab in Essex, Vermont, Shut Your Eyes and See was co-produced by Ezra Oklan (Norah Jones, Nicole Atkins, Wu-Tang Clan) and mastered by Lane Gibson (Grace Potter, Trey Anastasio, Twiddle). The production captures the warmth and spontaneity of the band’s performances, balancing studio detail with the natural looseness and emotion of a live show.
From the driving momentum of “Keep on Rolling” and “Stuck In the City (You’re Not Alone)” to the reflective blues of “If You’re Blue and Lonesome,” the album moves effortlessly between intensity and intimacy. “Spirits High (feat. Ali McGuirk)” adds another dimension to the record, while the closing live recording of “Shake Your Hips” from Nectar’s in Burlington on May 22, 2025, highlights the atmosphere and excitement that define the band on stage.
That live presence has remained central to All Night Boogie Band’s rise. The group has performed alongside artists including Gary Clark Jr., Grace Potter, Eddie 9V, Jackie Venson, Dwight + Nicole, and Blues Hall of Famer Lurrie Bell, experiences that have helped shape the confidence and connection heard throughout their latest release.
Their work has also earned recognition throughout the region, including a 2025 New England Music Award nomination for Best Blues Act, a Seven Daysies win for Best Blues Group, a Rising Star nod from the 2023 New England Music Awards, and a Semi-Finalist placement in the International Blues Challenge.
With Shut Your Eyes and See, All Night Boogie Band deliver a record rooted in tradition but powered by their own momentum, proving why their sound continues to resonate both on stage and beyond.
