Alyssa Trahan Is Leading The Pack On Her Latest Single

by Joshua (J.Smo) Smotherman August 9, 2018 12:31 pm Tagged With: Country, multi-instrumentalist, Nashville, Pop, singer, songwriter, United States

Alyssa Trahan-Leading The Pack

Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and audio engineer Alyssa Trahan is undeniably Leading The Pack on her newest single.

Full of youth and overflowing with creativity, this rising talent and amazing musician can play over a dozen instruments including guitar, penny whistle and piano. She also pumps out 100+ shows per year and has opened for familiar names such as Josh Turner, Charlie Daniels, Rodney Atkins, Lee Greenwood, Dylan Scott and many more. It’s possible you have seen her performing the National Anthem and her original music at professional sporting events without even realizing it.

Raised in East Rochester, NY, Alyssa now calls Nashville home. New in town, she wasted no time establishing herself in the local scene securing a publishing deal with Dan Hodges Music. She works as a producer for her own music as well as with a plethora of other artists, musicians and writers around Music City.

Alyssa delivers modernized, refreshing country music that manages to stay true to the style’s organic, folk roots. When you click play on Leading The Pack, you are greeted with a more familiar traditional country-sounding intro before the song begins building into it’s more modern, electronic-infused form which manages to seamlessly blend traditional instrumentation with synth-laden, emotion stirring, programmed elements which elevate the song to a crossover, radio-ready pop jam that can (and does) appeal to a much wider audience.

With several single releases under her belt, I encourage you to check out more than just Leading The Pack.
