Connecticut based rockers American Amnesia might be young in age but their musical prowess and song crafting abilities are well above and beyond their physical years living on planet Earth.

The one thing that is undeniable once you start listening to …Yet Here We Are is the band’s unfettered, no holds barred approach to RAWKing listeners’ socks off. Hard rockin’ walls of sound, memorable hooks, melodically rich textures and an unabashed tapestry of alternative, hard rockin’ frequencies collide into a cohesive collection of solid tracks which fall on the spectrum somewhere between Alice In Chains, Rush, Metallica and Led Zeppelin.

Those are quite the comparisons for a band packed to the brim with youth but, as I mentioned before, American Amnesia‘s music creating skills and musicianship go well beyond their age and exude a maturity typically found in more seasoned bands.

There is no doubt that American Amnesia is a band on the rise. I highly recommend keeping them on your radar; especially if hard rockin’ vibes satisfy your sonic taste buds.
