American High Release Bones in the Attic, Flowers in the Basement

American High-Bones In The Attic Flowers In The Basement

Sacramento based rockers American High have released a tasty, jam-filled album titled Bones In The Attic, Flowers In The Basement.

Composed of four guys who love the art of songwriting, American High doesn’t follow any conventions or care to abide by any songwriting status quo. Rather, this creative collective let’s their subconscious show itself through music, they grab onto the reigns of whatever frequencies arise, and they ride the rock and roll train until the wheels are ready to fall off.

The best, and most noteworthy, part about this album….? It’s the band’s debut! And what a debut it is!

From raw rockin’ and rollin’, to psychedelic-esque surf rock vibes, to various influences from music of decades past, American High creates great music!

The songs orbit themes of love lost or never found, self doubt, and lost hope. The costs of war, of denying the obvious truth that each of us was born with inherent liberties, of some thinking that maybe they are smarter, better, worth more. Of encouraging our sisters and brothers to believe in themselves and their inherent worth.

We were interested in exploring the duality of human existence. Those of us living behind iron bared windows, with crumbling foundations and those living safely in the penthouse, cool breezes blowing past tasteful art. We wanted to point out the equality of each person’s worth. We hope to humbly point out that sometimes there are Bones in the attic and flowers in the basement. Happy songs with dark themes”

Bones in the Attic, Flowers in the Basement is a must add to your indie music collection.

American High have delivered a solid, cohesive, highly infectious album that you can jam over and over again.
