by C Bret Campbell August 26, 2016 5:32 pm

sorcha-richardson-walk-away-cover

Sorcha Richardson has dropped off another fantastic tune! It fits right into my “simplicity” theme I seem to have been running on lately, too. This young lady has a great voice and a knack with songs! I’ve heard a few of them and can’t wait to hear the rest of this project! ‘In the past […]

Pat Maloney offers More To Love

PRESSPHOTO_RIGHTHERE

Taking the “less is more” approach, Pat Maloney offers “More to Love” and it turns out to be a pretty good deal! What do you get? Well… you get Pat and his guitar. And a foot stomping or a cardboard box, or something that sounds an awful lot like a bass drum. Oh, and a […]

spanishlimbs-lakekwando

What can you do with a stack of busted up old starter synthesizers and weird gear? A hell of a lot more than anyone at any music store will Ever admit or any top 40 producer wants you to even think about… and that’s what Lake Kwan Do did on Spanish Limbs. Reminding me of […]

“Stepping out of the bedroom with a series of self-produced works, Melbourne creative Alexander Biggs has unveiled his third single. ‘Tidal Wave’ is about the influence someone can have in the distance they create, or more so in the distance that already exists. Previous single ‘Out In The Dark’ received airplay on Triple J and […]

DB Bryant - Web-Spread-1024x515

Dispensing with the flowery prose, this is simply one of the best Southern rock / blues records I’ve heard in a long, long time! DB Bryant has been on the scene for a while and it show. His most recent record of all acoustic work was just great and then, according to the liner notes […]

As the collective attention span shrinks, Eddie Canyon finds himself searching for meaning within the noise. Reaching into and around his Arkansas roots, Eddie carves a distinctively southern Hip Hop undercurrent in his exploratory approach to music. Weaving tales of battling addiction, thoughts on spirituality, and irreverent social commentary into his lyrics, Eddie aims to intrigue his audience at the least, and at most, leave them with a liberating degree of thoughtfulness. In his own words: “The Matrix is real, but there’s a way out.” Support on Spotify or Bandcamp.
