Weaving influences and sounds that coalesce from folk songs, chants and prayers going centuries back into European and Middle Eastern history, Edery’s music is a tapestry spanning various cultural and musical traditions resulting in a spiritually infused synergy of devotional and secular songs that touch the far-reaching Sephardic Diaspora (link opens in new tab).

He is considered an expert in the wide array of music found within the context of the Sephardic Diaspora. Gerard has received the Sephardic Musical Heritage Award and also a Meet The Composer grant for his original music.
