by Joshua (J.Smo) Smotherman August 5, 2012 4:00 pm Tagged With: Rock

Bitterbox

bitterbox will be performing on the Aut 2 Be Kids Stage at I Am What I Am Music Festival on August 18th in Shelbyville, TN.

Bio

bitterbox is a modern rock group made up of 5 guys from middle Tennessee. Each member of bitterbox brings their own music experiences to the group. Each member is a student of the instrument they play that makes the music come alive onstage. Each member learned at an early age that music was a flame they could just not put out. Each member has performed with other groups through the years until the stars aligned and bitterbox was the culmination of the alignment. In total over 100 years of music has been played between all the guys.

bitterbox is comprised of lead singer David Bradley, guitarist Billy Pack, guitarist Aaron James, bassist Eddie Thompson and drummer Tim Baird. Their music is a culmination of real life and the simple enjoyment of listening to good old fashioned rock and roll. It was once written in an editorial, “bitterbox has the ability to let everyone that hears their music get away from the reality of life for a while”.

bitterbox has recently released their second CD, entitled “Hero”. They have already picked up a new group of listeners and fans due to their popularity on Pandora. Their new CD is available on Itunes, Amazon.com, CD Baby and many other popular online marketplaces. Due to the overwhelming response of “Hero”, bitterbox has been playing consistently at different night spots all over the southeast. They recently played with country star Keith Anderson at a sold out event in middle Tennessee. They just wrapped up a performance in Birmingham, Alabama. They have been featured several times The Hard Rock Café in Nashville. Upcoming events include headlining an event in Franklin, Tennessee and performing at a huge benefit concert for the Autism Awareness Campaign.

The future for bitterbox is continuing to get brighter and brighter. The love of the music and the creativity that goes into their songwriting makes bitterbox a huge success to the classic rock and roll listeners and now to the new generation of rock and roll fans as well. With all the songs being written by the group, it’s easy to see why their music and lyrics represent what they stand for and desire…..true rock and roll that the “bitterbox nation” will continue to love and listen to for years and years to come!!!
