Recently, she has worked with one of her guitar players and another songwriter from Sony, whose name is BJ Peace. Ashley states, “We co-wrote my new song, “God Winks,”  We wrote it for a TV show called “Do I have a Hit Song,” which is a show about songwriters and it’s focusing more on the song than so much on the singer. I ended up winning the first round with that song. Other than “God Winks,”Ashley Bakers singles have all enjoyed much success charting in the US and Japan entering the Top 50 with her song “Cigarette Smokin”.  Her voice has that special quality that has garnered her a sizable listenership in over 85 countries around the world.
