NYC based Alt-Americana singer/songwriter Butch Parnell has delivered a beautiful soundscape packed with lovely melodies, an upbeat rhythm and the freshly invigorating passion that comes with new love.

As with everything in life, Hurry can be interpreted in various ways. On the flip side of the excitement that new love brings, there is also that underlying uncertainty that drives an incessant need to hear the words “I love you” to assure ourselves we are not dreaming.

I couldn’t help but laugh when Butch said,

It took 15 minutes to write and I’ve spent much more time than that trying to figure out what I meant.”

Love is a delicate and perplexing creature but Hurry is a beautifully crafted, emotion driven, well written song that packs a very infectious punch in less three minutes.
