Masterful violinist, composer and band leader, Chris Murphy is a life-long, passionate lover of music as well as playing and creating it.

On his website, you can find a catalog of records he has written, composed and recorded with various bands over his time as an active musician.

I’ve been sitting on this song and video for a few days at this point. For the past half hour I have had the song on repeat singing, stomping, moving around and having a really great time while trying to figure out what to write.

I suddenly myself filled with this strong desire to get a fiddle and learn how to play it. Chris’ performance is an instant injection of inspiration!

The only thing I can really say is if you DON’T watch this video and then go check out more of Murphy’s work, you are really missing out on a unique, very enjoyable sonic experience.
