Song of the Week: ‘Concrete Angel’ by James Bell

About James Bell

Fifteen years of chasing a dream. It all started with a girl. I used to paint pictures and draw, until I realized I could paint a better picture with words than I ever could with brushes. Fifteen years, Sometimes I wish I had never written the first thing, the rest of the time I consider it to be the best gift in the world, to be able to write.

I am not much of a singer or guitar player, but I love to write. So I keep on dreaming, keep on believing, and keep on trying to get the girl!

Jedi Gro says…

The first ever Middle Tennessee Music Song Of The Week goes to James Bell’s Concrete Angel.

James is a country singer/songwriter from Manchester, TN. Son of a Preacher, James’ songs have a way of touching your soul much in the same way a good Sunday mornin’ sermon might.

Concrete Angel is on James’ rough cuts CD that I picked up at The Brew in Manchester. It’s a bittersweet homage to the things we miss in life as we grow older and move on. Congrats James!

If you enjoy this song as much as we did check out the rest of his catalog on ReverbNation.
