Songwriter and Danish science journalist Carsten Nielsen records and releases music as Danophone.

Residing in the happiest city (City of Aalborg) of the happiest country (Denmark) on this planet, it’s safe to say that Danophone’s music will inject you with happiness…even when the music or lyrical content isn’t necessarily trying to be happy.

Rerun is a collection of “habitual offenders repeating their mistakes like reruns of old movies. Many of the missteps on the album could be the songwriter’s own. A couple of them are,” Danophone states.

Delivering a very infectious, uplifting, rock/pop soundscape, Danophone’s new record is perfect for listening any where at any time. Joining Danophone on this album include fellow journalist Tino Pedersen whose friendship goes back to their teenage years. Since they’ve performed together as “Capones” and “Syndikatet”. Other contributors include award winning jazz and rock drummer Bertil Bille as well as mixing & mastering work by DJ Elias Bille.
