Digital Antique Is My New Favorite Band

by Joshua (J.Smo) Smotherman August 18, 2012 10:40 pm Tagged With: Instrumental, Progressive, Rock

Digital Antique II Digital Antique can be summed up in one word…Epic!

But this indie instrumental rock band out of Austin, Texas is more than just music.

Combining stunning visuals with guru musicianship and compositions the 17th Century would be proud of, Digital Antique is a full multimedia experience.

The music is cinematic in itself but the videos and visuals this team creates to go along with the soundtrack is nothing short of amazing. I would even call it breath taking.

Below is their bio and a very good description of the band:

Digital Antique is an instrumental indie rock band that consists of cinematic driven compositions. The band is made up of clean and dirty electric guitar, melodic style bass riffs, syncopated rhythmic drums, and a string quartet of seasoned musicians that have played all over the world. It’s progressive in nature by using unique and changing time signatures and tempo. They also incorporate visual projections during their performances that tell stories with imagery and create a multimedia experience.

Instead of wasting any more of your time reading and any more of my time thinking of synonyms to the word epic, just click play below.
