Dylan Emmet is a singer/songwriter/producer based in upstate New York with time spent in Los Angeles. After moving to L.A. to pursue his music dreams, Dylan received a life-altering phone call that would turn his entire world upside down.

With newly realized knowledge that he had a 2 year old daughter he had never been told about, Dylan gave up the path he was pursuing in California to return home to build a relationship with his child. Using the power of music as a way to deal with all the feelings, emotions and upheaval that ensued, Dylan came to terms with his newly, un-chosen path realizing the universe can lead you places you never thought possible…if you simply allow it. He also realized the path he was pursuing was a Mirage, which is also the title of one of his singles.

More recently, Dylan co-wrote and produced two singles for LeyeT ‘Wind’ (featured on Indie Nation, C-Heads Magazine) and ‘Long Way’ (#1 on Hype Machine Popular Chart, Spotify’s New Music Friday in Italy and Turkey, Turkey viral 50). Emmet has also been hard at work releasing a new single once a month. Each song tells the story of his journey: finding out about his daughter, moving back to New York to be with her, and then having to fight in court to be a part of her life.

His latest release, Melatonin, finished that series of songs. Melatonin is about the sleepless nights Dylan experienced during worst parts of his battles to become the daddy he wanted to be.
