I always get asked this question all the time what is the difference between a Emcee (MC) and a Rapper?

Im going to give you a definition of both,

Rapper example: cat,hat,bat

Definition of a Rapper: uses alot of redundancy, he uses alot of punch lines,hooks,and in the now catch phrases threw out their verses.uses a lot of curse words to make up for a lack of a vocabulary arsenal, they don’t really want you to know who they are so they will just glide over a track painting a picture talking about rims,bling,how much money they spent on this & that.The cadence and the delivery is lacking. The live show consist of alot over modulated audio antics.

Emcee example: will tell what breed of cat that is and its origin,will tell you how to wear a hat to the side or to the back,will tell you about the bat wood or aluminum

Defination of a Emcee (MC): MC means move the crowd, uses a lot of word play, he may tell you a story , uses a of lot defined words, may talk about something in the news,politics,etc. He will tell you about his self because he wants to connect with his fans.The cadence and delivery is on point knows how to lock on the beat .The live show for a emcee is defined he knows how to work a crowd really connecting with the audience.
