Zean Otey (onezean.com) has been a long-time MTM Friend and we’re really glad to know him! Today at Noon, his new single comes out on CD-Baby, but you can hear it here in advance =D

I met Zean a few years ago when he rang us up about some help with his wordpress website for music. His attitude and spirit caught me right away and we swapped some tunes while we made some adjustments to his site. I fell in love with his music immediately and MTM are proud to support such a soulful indie musician.

“I, Love,” is something slightly different compared to other Zean Otey tracks I’ve got stashed away – cool 50’s riffs and guitar sounds with great ’70’s harmonies and well… just listen….

Zean says, “I, Love is a song about a side of love that isn’t typically considered. Love isn’t a feeling, or an idea…it’s discovered or identified by intentional, consistent action. [I attempt an] explanation of Love using an old school R&B feel-which is reminiscent of a time saturated with romantic rhythms and concepts, that helps capture a storytelling mood.”
