Faction’s Hip Hop Is Back

A lot of times people make and release music (especially in the rap world) because “its cool”, they see it as a means to “get money”, or their interest in it drives them to try it only to realize its not what they thought.

Today I want to introduce you to the exact opposite. To some young cats, K Shay and T.K., I met recently who have been working extra hard at their craft and now that work is beginning to pay off….rightfully so.

Faction is passion and it shows through every bar, every verse, and every track on their newest release Hip Hop Is Back.

Yes sir, they definitely take it back to what Hip Hop is all about on this one. This duo from a small town in Virginia have been seeing their buzz level blow up after entering Funk Volume’s Don’t Fu[n]k Up Our Beats Contest.

We recently had the opportunity to grab an interview with K and T where we went more in depth about their background and influences.

You can feel their passion, drive, and hard work seeping out the pores of every song. If you haven’t visited their YouTube channel, then you’d have no idea how much time they spend producing videos.

Consider me a fan.

Go grab Hip Hop Is Back, then connect with them on Facebook or better yet, visit their website.
