First Blush is the brainchild and moniker of Charles Sekel who has arrived with the release of the 3rd and final single from his debut LP (Monologic), Before & After.

With a background in jazz and classical music, First Blush brings a unique and refreshing approach to his electronic-infused style of indie rock.

Before & After features a soothing and infectious sound bed of synths accented with sweet guitar tones which add a tasty rock edge to this mostly mellow but still poignant arrangement of frequencies.

About this single, First Blush states,

Before & After is the oldest track on my forthcoming album Monologic and was the song that ended up setting the tone for the whole album.”
