Music City pairs new candle brand with technology innovator to bring the music of Nashville to fans

FlashPoint Candle and Brite For Brands partner to bring the music of independent artists to light

Two of Nashville’s successful entrepreneurs have joined forces to provide 10 free music downloads to consumers who purchase FlashPoint Candle’s LuScent by Drea Groeschel candles. FlashPoint Candle Founder and CEO, Drea Groeschel, and Brite for Brands President and CEO, Winn Elliott, are working together to highlight Brite For Brands’ new music service platform. Recently launched, Brite For Brands makes it possible for brands of all sizes to offer the incentive of music to their customers. FlashPoint Candle is a leader in creative candle décor and design for inside and outside of the home.

When consumers purchase a LuScent by Drea Groeschel European- Terracotta candle at retail, they will receive a promotional insert with a code for ten free song downloads. The music download access will allow consumers to visit a special site for 10 free downloads from the music playlist per month. The playlists, changed and updated monthly, are chosen by Groeschel and Elliott to provide the perfect accompaniment to the ambient glow of the LuScent candles.

The insert will be packaged with the candles beginning with August 1 wholesale shipments to FlashPoint Candle’s retail partners and will be available to consumers at those retailers shortly thereafter. To kick-off the promotion, FlashPoint Candle and Brite for Brands will host a series of acoustic performances by the independent artists featured on the downloadable music playlists. The musical performances and LuScent candles will be shown live at the Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Market from July 10-17.

Known for her innovation in design, FlashPoint’ Drea Groeschel hopes that the creative on-pack promotion will allow another avenue to communicate with customers of the company’s unique multi-wick soy blend candles in decorative ceramic vessels with reactive glaze finishes. Groeschel explains, “We are excited to partner with Brite for Brands to demonstrate this effective value-added opportunity for retailers and consumers. It’s also a great way for FlashPoint Candle to reinforce our idea that candles do more than just freshen the air in a home. They combine distinctive art with functionality and bring character and positive emotion to any setting.” Groeschel goes on to say, “My hope is that the combination of fresh music from independent artists and a dynamic landscape of light will take people to a special place of comfort.”

Brite For Brands’ Winn Elliott explains the new service, “Until now, only big Fortune 500 companies had the massive capital required to administrate a music website and offer free music to their customers. Now, brands of all sizes can do it at a fraction of the cost.”

LuScent is a new take on décor candles by Drea Groeschel, creator of FlashPoint Candle products. With this new line, Groeschel focused on stylish metallic and shimmery glint finishes that mimic ironwork coatings. Each finish is brought to life on a European-Terracotta vessel with sleek curves and clean lines.

Made with premium, natural soy wax blends, FlashPoint’s candles are hand-poured and hand-wicked at a 160,000-square-foot production and warehousing facility in Ohio using multiple wicks to create a dynamic landscape of candlelight.
