FM Down Creates Their Own Style of White Noise

by Joshua (J.Smo) Smotherman March 8, 2013 12:05 pm Tagged With: Alternative, Rock

FM Down is a group of music veterans from Wisconsin who have come together to deliver their own style of White Noise.

We recently interviewed them.

Will Wall can be found handling vocals and guitar. He has performed in numerous indie groups throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin including The Holy Rifles and First Step To Failure. He also has quite a bit of experience as a solo performer.

Andrew Liss can be found on vocals and keyboards and has an extensive musical background as a DJ and MC in Wisconsin for the past 5 years.

Zach Morganroth is on bass and vocals. He also has a background as a DJ and MC for the past 7 years.

Bill Cooney is on drums and percussion and has performed in numerous bands for the past 10 years including Left Hand Corner, Garpike, First Step To Failure, and Rushheads (A Tribute To Rush).

This crew of misfits saw a lack of rock music in the mainstream. Imagine that…so they did something about it. Deep in the basement of a converted bread factory, they came together to form their own brand of indie pop rock. Similar to artists such as Foo Fighters, Jimmy Eat World, and The Cars.

If you are a venue owner or a talent agent and need a band that can play popular songs all night… FM Down’s repertorie includes music by the Foo Fighters, Cee Lo Green, Genesis, Matchbox 20, Sublime, the Beatles, Mumford and Sons, the Black Keys, Gin Blossoms, Pearl Jam and, U2.

But more importantly, their original live show is where they truly shine. I am sure they sprinkle their cover sets with a few of their own 😉

No matter what type of crowd packs your venue, FM Down can cater to your needs.

With all of this said, I don’t need to go on about how awesome the music is. Great musicianship, great songwriting, and lyrics that will make you wish you wrote that.

This is the part where you go grab White Noise. Then connect with the band on ReverbNation or Facebook.
