F.R.A.T. MusiKK Put On The Charm

by Joshua (J.Smo) Smotherman December 4, 2012 2:16 pm

Charming Soul by Frat Muzikk

The F.R.A.T.  or the full length version, Futuristic Rhythms and Techniques are a production team from Newsport News, Virginia. Inspiration from the name came from their roots in Kappa Kappa Psi.

These two cats do it all. Production, songwriting, arranging, and engineering. These guys are a lot more than your average beat maker. They are musicians.

Mr. Inkredible and D.E.W.B.I. instantly connected back in high school and they haven’t slowed down since. Their production credits include work with artists such as June Summers, P-Nyce, Dyverse, Adriane Brooke, Mill$, Descendant, DT the Great, and Supa Suzi.

They have even arranged compositions for the Norfolk State University Spartan Legion Marching Band.

Charming Soul is their newest contribution to independent music and their skills shine through. As the duo puts it,

“Charming Soul” is a timeless compilation of work that knows no boundaries of age, sex, or race. It’s music for the soul that fuels the imagination. Simply put- it’s music for the dreamers, by the dreamers…

They are right about that. These instrumental pieces will take you places. Relax, open your mind, and absorb the sounds of Charming Soul.

The ReverbNation widget above features tracks with vocals but Charming Soul is an instrumental album.

Grab your copy from iTunes or their website.
