Friday afternoon Bonnaroo Report

by C Bret Campbell June 11, 2011 2:38 pm Tagged With: Bonnaroo

Hot weather, Hotter Music!

Well, it’s warm, but it’s been hotter! No 110 deg. temps this year, the day topped out at about 95 and it’s down to around 80, now. But, judging by the crowd’s reaction to the music, you would think it was 350!

Top Notch

Bela fleck, Warren Haynes (hizell yeah!) Primus! Florence and the Machine, The Decemberists ( My first time with them and Wow!) Justin Townes Earle (Nashville Native), Del McCoury (what can I say)!  Wow  this Is the place for music this season!

What’s that Smell?

Pizza, cajun food, Tai, Chinese, burgers, BBQ, gourmet Veggie stuff, Great Coffees, man I ate good today! and Yes the air is full of all the rest of the festival smells, too… sweat, smoke, patchouli … porta potties….  I think I’ll head back to the food courts for a bit (bite, whatever…)

Laptop batteries go quickly, so I’ll sign off. Look for another report from your Pie in the Sky field reporter, Jedi Bret later! time to jam! Peace
