Geoff of Former Champions on MidTennListens ep. 33

by C Bret Campbell May 1, 2013 10:18 pm Tagged With: Electro, mid tenn listens, Rock

nationalnew11_Former_ChampionsVirginia electro rock band Former Champions has just embarked on a summer tour of the South-east, including a stop right in the heart of Middle Tennessee – Murfreesboro’s Main Street Live!

While they were on the road to Louisville, KY (passing through my home state of West Virginia) I managed to get them on the phone for what was going to be a short interview. Yeah, I know… I’ve never done one of those.

I could have talked to Geoff all day! He was so full of cool information and ready to share his knowledge and love of all things music that I didn’t really have to do anything like a normal interview.

We talked about theory and performance, gear and synthesis, and all sorts of great stuff! You probably know what a gear nut I am ( a classic case of G.A.S.).

I’ll be looking forward to seeing these cats live tomorrow night, and if you are in the Mid Tn area, I hope to see you there!
