Do you love jazz? I really dig it although I don’t listen that often… However, when it’s THIS GOOD I simply LOVE it!

Gervais Maillard and Anya Mezentseva teamed up to create this very delightful little ditty A Day Before Snowfall which sounds, to me, like a day before the snow falls.

Gervais, a bassist and composer from France, and Russian born Anya met on the East Coast while studying at Berklee College of Music. Back in Russia, Anya had started her career as a pop and soul artist so when she teamed up with Gervais for a musical project they naturally created an awesome fusion of jazz, pop and soul.

A Day Before Snowfall has been on repeat for a quite a while. Even though I’m currently sitting on a bed with a laptop I feel like I’m wearing a luxurious three-piece pinstripe suit in one of the fanciest jazz clubs in this region of Northern California.

This song is smoooooooth. It’s silky sweet. It makes you feel happy!
