Santa Fe, New Mexico based singer/songwriter and rocker Guy Grogan is a multi-award winning songwriter whose music is a blend of sonic forces including in-your-face rock, catchy and memorable pop, and a little jazz infused with an alt-folk-punk sensibility.
Glitter In The Gears is Guy’s tenth record to date and is everything and more you would expect from a songwriter who has won many awards.
As mentioned above, Glitter In The Gears is an amalgamation of various styles which gives this record an unpredictable nature without taking away from the cohesiveness of the album as a whole.
About his sound, Guy states,
Knowing what you sound like is kind of like looking into the mirror…you see yourself, but don’t have a real sense of what you look like to the rest of the world.”
From where I’m standing, I see a successful songwriter with one hell of a portfolio and a solid history of pumping out jam after jam with ease.
Glitter In The Gears is a great album for any and everyone who enjoys their indie rock with a few twists!
