Los Angeles based Highland Kites have arrived with their ambient, dreamy and highly enjoyable blend of folk, pop and alternative rock on their latest EP I’m Not Weak.

Formed in 2013, Highland Kites is the brainchild of Mariss Lamar (vocals, keys, guitar). Joining her to complete the 3-piece line-up is Neil Briggs (drums) and Alex Edwards (lead guitar).

I’m Not Weak is a seamless collection of five well crafted songs; each with the ability to carry you to a place where you feel light as a feather and uplifted, floating on a cloud of frequencies purposefully designed to delight.

From track 1 Nothing To Say to the finale I’m Not Weak, you will journey through a soft and sensual yet powerful and potent blend of tones, melodies, well thought instrumentation and soulful performances.
