She Never Screams by The Meaning of Life

(Brooklyn, NY) Indie-alternative, dream pop band The Meaning of Life releases the second single, “She Never Screams,” from their ” from their forthcoming sophomore EP Diamonds and Junkfood, due out February 17, 2015.

Finding each other through a web ad in early 2012, Marta (vocals/bass) and Christian (guitar) quickly bonded over a myriad of mutual interests. A year later, after bringing in Sanal Leejan (drums), the band saw success with the release of their debut EP Play Fuego. Drawing influences from Sade, The Jesus and Mary Chain, and Blood Orange, the band creates “dreamily beautiful noise that differentiates The Meaning of Life from many other dream pop bands working today,” (Speak Into My Good Eye) and showcases their passion for raw, DIY music.
