Thom Kunz & Whitney Pearsall – Cold Moon
“Cold Moon”, a poignant rock hymn, speaks to the challenges and frustrations associated with caring for family members and loved ones living with Alzheimer’s. The song’s heartfelt verses and anthem chorus summon a blend of alt-country, gospel, and soul, for a poetic examination of universal family struggles.
Kunz penned the song for his grandfather, a WWII Vet whose life and battle with Alzheimer’s came to an end in 2010.
This is the second track released from Thom Kunz & Whitney Pearsall’s collaborative debut ‘Stars in the Black and Blue’, forthcoming on ILMGROWN Records (multicolored vinyl, CD, and digital) July 13th.
