James of Mosaics – Children of the Sun

James of Mosaics is an artist, maker, and musician. When not consumed by architecture projects or school, he is working on developing concepts for music projects.

The Desert is a solo project I have been working on for the past four years, Genesis, Make Us a Shelter, and Nostalgia being the oldest songs in the record. During the past year, I have gotten some tremendous help from family, friends, and fellow artists to help materialize the vision of The Desert. The constancy of process and learning is always present, and I hope that the work reflects the time and space of process in some way or another. I currently study Architecture at Georgia Tech, and I balance school with classes, studio, and other activities. It continues to be a shifting balance, but I’m blessed to be here.”
