Foresteater – Dress In Yellow

Genre: Indie Rock, Alternative, Shoegaze

Foresteater is the moniker and band of Singer/Songwriter/Multi-Instrumentalist Mikey Pro from Phoenix AZ USA. Created in 2015 after a dream he had about “a band playing on an island in outer-space with electric rainbows everywhere.” Foresteater‘s debut EP “Nightlife of the Exploding Heads” was released May 6th 2016. It’s difficult to place Foresteater‘s music in one Genre but it can be described as “Melodramatic songs with psychedelic harmonies under catchy melodies.”

Buddha Trixie – Real

Genre: Alternative / Shoegaze

Real is the title track off of Buddha Trixie‘s debut, self-produced EP. They are an indie rock band from San Diego, California. Buddha Trixie is a couple of college kids currently meddling in music as they make their way through their respective universities scattered across California. Members include Andrew Harris (Lead guitar), Daniel Cole (Vocals, Drums), Dennis Moon (Bass), Kenzo Mann (Synth, rhythm guitar).

Prana Crafter – Forest At First Light

Genre: Folk/Acoustic, Indie Rock, Indie Pop

Prana Crafter is William Sol, a one-man band hailing from America’s great Pacific Northwest, and Rupture of Planes is his second CD release of heavily forested psychedelic goodness. Rupture Of Planes is a follow up to Prana Crafter’s Ltd Edition CD from UK underground label Reverb Worship. Like a musical alchemist, or harmonic shaman, Sol consumes the raw beauty and magic of his Woodland surrounds and allows them to flow forth as shimmering waves of psychedelic folk.

Cadence Kid – Hold On Me

Genre: Pop / Electro-Pop

Jason Turbin aka Cadence Kid, Film Composer/Orchestrator ( Dementia (NY times choice), Dream Theater’s #1 Billboard album “The Astonishing”, Oculus, Before I Wake(Danny Elfman, Life Of Crime) decides it’s time to put his multi-intrumental and songwriting skills to the test. With the Help of 3x Grammy winner Cassidy Turbin (Beck, Bat for Lashes, Thurston Moore) at the recording console and a few guest vocalist along the way, Cadence Kid has a good start and hopes to keep making music people will enjoy.

Hold On Me is a love song with a summer vibe about adventure, freedom and all things that make this world a little crazy and enjoyable at the same time. All the instruments except drums are played by Jason Turbin. The Drums are performed by Cassidy Turbin (Producer/engineer) for Cadence Kid.

Moon Loves Honey – Start All Over

Genre: Indie Rock, Indie Pop

Moon Loves Honey was formed in late 2014 after Jeppe sent out some song-demos to his old high school friends Ludvig and Stine to ask if they wanted to help make the songs come to life. Ludvig and Stine both knew Johan, who then joined the band afterwards. Jeppe Dengsø, who completes the arrangements and instrumentation of the songs before bringing them to the band, composes all of the songs.

The song (Start All Over) – despite it’s rather upbeat and happy nature – is about the hopelessness of feeling misunderstood or feeling like you’re being pushed into being something you don’t want to be.

Chorus lyrics: “Ohh.. don’t tell me that I’m not what you expected. Ohh.. don’t tell me that we have to start all over again”

Those chorus lines sum up what the song is about: To me, if I feel like people don’t understand me or that they are somehow disappointed in me, because they expected me to act differently, I sometimes feel like the relationship between me and that person has to start all over again – hence the title.

EMYLE – Drunk On You

Genre: Pop / Electro-Pop

EMYLE, the new dark disco queen, left her Bay Area home in search of L.A. adventure. While her lyrics weave tales of heartbreak and desire, she finds inspiration in legends like Blondie, Donna Summer, and Linda Ronstadt to create a luxurious sounds.

She has joined forces with producer Mark Pistel to create a brooding synthpop sound layered flawlessly below the dulcet tones of her voice. Let It Rain (her debut EP) is now available.

Everywhere – Some Other Dude

Genre: Pop/Electro-Pop, Indie Pop

Following the release of critically praised single “Shades At Night” UK Alt Rock band ‘Everywhere‘ have announced new track “Some Other Dude” available on all digital providers July 29th.

“Some Other Dude” is the second single off their Sophomore EP due out in September this year. “It’s a funky little song about the importance of seizing an opportunity before it goes out the window” says Sweden native front man Max Berga.

During the recording process of the new EP the band have divided their time between Stockholm, Los Angeles and London to collaborate with multiple producers, including American hit maker Mark Needham (The 1975, The Killers).

Bad Buzz – Crazy, Stupid

Genre: Punk/Ska

Simply put, Crazy, Stupid, is a song about self loathing – which is fairly evident in just about every lyric. This song was written during a time in my life when I was feeling hated and unwanted for some personal choices I had made, but at the same time I really didn’t care. —Bad Buzz

Jake Aldridge – When I’m Feeling Down

Genre: R&B, Pop, Hip Hop

Young musical artist, 28 year old Jake Aldridge, has just announced the release of his first-time collaboration with fellow UK artist and singer/songwriter, Ellie Jamison, as a way of thanks to a loyal friend for many years of support.

Ellie has been performing since the age of 9 and has worked closely with Amy Wadge, who co-wrote the Grammy winning song, Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud.

When I’m Feeling Down has further built-in quality as it features production by California-based Johann Elliott, who has worked with Jake on previous tracks.

Amaliar – Hang On

Genre: Indie Rock

”Hang on” is the debut single and first music video from the upcoming Swedish band Amaliar (read Am-a-liar). This catchy, yet mellow rock tune questions what it means to be a man, and the consequences of being trapped in a destructive role with little room for expression of emotions.

The story of the video: A man living a lonely and dull city-office-life is wearing a black bag over his head. No place for feelings, waiting restlessly to break through his inner barriers, to unwind from society’s expectations and release himself to the power of the soul.

As the collective attention span shrinks, Eddie Canyon finds himself searching for meaning within the noise. Reaching into and around his Arkansas roots, Eddie carves a distinctively southern Hip Hop undercurrent in his exploratory approach to music. Weaving tales of battling addiction, thoughts on spirituality, and irreverent social commentary into his lyrics, Eddie aims to intrigue his audience at the least, and at most, leave them with a liberating degree of thoughtfulness. In his own words: “The Matrix is real, but there’s a way out.” Support on Spotify or Bandcamp.
