Frith – Single

Travis Frith Warner, better known by his stage name Frith, is a musician, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Los Angeles, CA. Best known for his lyrics, which chase metaphors down winding paths, creating imaginative worlds and stories, Frith is also a talented instrumentalist.

‘Single‘ was the last song written on my album Imaginary World. I was sitting at my friends house and we were discussing my record which was just about finished, but I didn’t feel like I had the single yet. Our conversation went back and forth between us both being single, and me needing a single, and that’s when I got the concept for the song. I told him I had to leave and walked out the door almost immediately. I sang the hook into my phone on the drive home and wrote the song that night.”

FRAUDS – Playelle

Anais, Stan and Anthony met in Paris in 2014. They all three have had music projects before, but when they started working together, they felt complementary: that was a new feeling, and that’s how FRAUDS was born.

FRAUDS is influenced by artists from different horizons such as Arcade Fire, Daughter and Moderat. They always blend opposing forces “electronic vs organic vs pop melodies”.

The three of them are working on the songwriting and the production, oscillating between melancholic/sad moods and groovy/enthusiast shaking beats.

Destructive passion and fear of failure are recurring themes in their tracks. They have one rule : songwriting must always have that raw and genuine emotion. “Make your own kind of music”, as Mama Cass sung.
