Chris and Daya – Envy of Stars

Chris MacVittie and Daya Rawat are the singer-songwriter duo better known as Chris & Daya. What they deliver is a classic folk sound, reminiscent of Jack Johnson meets Simon and Garfunkel with a touch of Emmylou Harris, a veritable “magic carpet ride of voice and harmony” with an accessible country feel, combining a timeless musical quality with heartfelt, resonant storytelling.

Chris & Daya’s debut release is called Envy of Stars and the two have been busy touring and promoting it at venues all over the United States and Europe. Some gig highlights include playing the Performing Arts Center in Hollywood, Florida, a Peace Day Festival in Lucerne, Switzerland, the Millennium Hotel in London, UK, Hunter College in NYC, the Bastyr University Chapel in Seattle, Washington and the LION D’OR in Montreal, Canada..
