Didda Joe

We recently caught up with Indiana’s own, Didda Joe. A talented performer getting ready for a new release and a Tour this Fall.

Listen to Didda Joe on Spotify

Didda Joe, tell us about your new music and inspiration in writing!

Hey thanks for having me! Well this new material has really just been my ongoing story of moving to LA, learning the industry, and my experience with love through it all. Life for me has been such a movie, so I really wanted to share the experience with all my fans, so what better way to share than through the music!

When did you first pick up an instrument and decide to play?

I believe I was 3, my dad had played with a band since before I was born and his band would rehearse in my basement so one night my mom heard drums being played, and when she went downstairs to check it out, there I was! And from there my passion and curiosity of different instruments grew so I kept teaching myself to play more! Piano, violin, bass, then finally found my true love in electric guitars.

How do you keep your voice in great shape when performing on the road?

Well this will actually be my First tour, so I’ve been preparing by starting to run and sing, learning to breathe better and training my voice more seriously. Also, I’m learning to make tea my best friend, and just overall shifting to a more healthy lifestyle I’ve never known before.

When is your debut release dropping?

Well you’ll stay tuned for that one, but very soon, so be ready, cause it’s been awhile since I’ve shared new music with
Everyone!

Where can we see you performing your new music soon?

You can catch me in different places throughout the west coast! My team has been letting it all fall into place so there will be a lot of possibilities and chances to see me, in LA, Vegas mostly, but the opportunities are always growing! So definitely Stay Tuned.

HOW can we download, buy and support your music as soon as possible?

Really, on all your favorite platforms! My go to is SoundCloud I love it, but of course check me out on Apple, Spotify, Amazon, Pandora, and just keep an eye out for all the new music coming too! Im gonna keep it available everywhere so whenever you’re just not feeling Tidal’s playlist you can still find me anywhere your vibe takes you for the day!

Where will you be performing this fall on tour and how do we keep up with your tour schedule?

Although, we’re still getting all the venues together We’ll be going across Cali and Vegas for starters, and then may expand to other cities really soon like Charlotte and my hometown, Indianapolis! Best way to keep up with all my upcoming shows is to follow me on my Socials all @DiddaJoe and I’m gonna keep everything updated on my website that’s coming really soon!

We appreciate your time Didda Joe and we look forward to hearing your new music soon. Wishing you continued success.

As the collective attention span shrinks, Eddie Canyon finds himself searching for meaning within the noise. Reaching into and around his Arkansas roots, Eddie carves a distinctively southern Hip Hop undercurrent in his exploratory approach to music. Weaving tales of battling addiction, thoughts on spirituality, and irreverent social commentary into his lyrics, Eddie aims to intrigue his audience at the least, and at most, leave them with a liberating degree of thoughtfulness. In his own words: “The Matrix is real, but there’s a way out.” Support on Spotify or Bandcamp.
