Video Interview

Temptation (music video)

Where are you from and what style of music do you create? (In your own words, not necessarily in marketing terms or by popular genre classifications.)

I’m from Norway, Oslo with a mum from Bergen. Bergen is on the west coast of Norway and I believe because of all the rain they are super open and chatty.

My style of music is pop dance. I love to reach everyone through my music, and what better way when they are having a good time !

What led you down this path of music and what motivates you to stay the course?

I love Ibiza! I need to express something when I write lyrics, something on my mind that needs to come out, and with my lyrics I could easily only write ballads but as I love dancing and fun I felt it corresponded with me and my personality to have the fun upbeat music with my deep lyrics.

It seems to work and I’ve been told by my audience that they love the combination.

How is your new release different than previous ones? Did you set out to accomplish anything specific?

I believe my album with Phillip Larsen, Dizzy, is lighter and even more fun than my last album, Smoke In My Veins. One progress with ones work so I hope to reach further.

Do you face challenges as an indie musician in a digital age? How has technology helped you (assuming it helps)?

I have been so lucky to find the right team which I believe is everything regardless if you’re a indie or a signed artist with Universal. Having a wonderful female team around me with my own label, Intimacy Records, which has given me full control.

The digital age has just made us all stand on the same platform.

Technology has opened many doors and is continuing to open them which is great!

Where can we connect with you online and discover more music?

  • I’m on Spotify, ITunes everywhere

Anything else before we sign off?

So pleased about everything happening in the US, my Billboard success #32 with single; Dizzy, produced by Eric Alexandrakis with legend drummer Steve Ferrone and INXS Garry Gary Beers. Can’t wait for my US tour this autumn to NY, Miami, LA and Las Vegas. And the Hollywood media nomination
