Todd Duda

In this interview spotlight, I chat with Todd Duda about the music, dream collabs, top song picks and more.

Full Q&A along with links and music below.

Are you able to choose a favorite song of all time? Or would you label this an impossible task? If yes, what’s the song? If no, what’s your current Top 3?

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to meet with me. “Imagine” by John Lennon. I believe a great song should have more than a great melody (sorry Mozart). Art is a reflection of society and a way to deliver a message both emotionally and intellectually. “Imagine” does this better than any other song I know.

What about this project makes you most proud? Was there a specific goal you were trying to accomplish with this release?

I feel most proud when I’m helping someone else. When and if, I see that my music has helped someone, well then I’ll feel proud. It’s a little soon to see that for this project. I think love is one of the wonderful gifts that mankind has been given, don’t ask me by who because I don’t know, but we certainly have it. So, I like writing songs about love. That’s all I was trying to do.

What inspires you to create music? What motivates you to keep going?

I am inspired to create any kind of art. Music, Painting, Acting, it’s all in my wheel house. I like to think that it’s all I know how to do, so I keep doing it.

If you could collaborate with anyone – dead or alive, famous or unknown – who would it be and why? If it’s an indie/DIY artist, please include a link so readers can check them out.

I would love it if the Beatles played one of my songs. As far as one person, Jimmy Page will do. He is simply a genius. So is David Bowie. Together, I think we could sail through the Universe and beyond!!

What was the last song you listened to? Favorite all-time bands/artists?

“Apocalyptical” by PUSCIFER. Joni Mitchell, Miles, Mozart, Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, Zappa many more….

Where is the best place to find you and stay connected?

I appreciate Your time. Want to say or plug any other projects before we part ways?

I live by three words:

Kindness, Forgiveness, Loving

 will you join me!!!!
