Malfunction-Zachary Sticker

Below we introduce Zachary Sticker, his inspiration, and what to expect from his newest album Malfunction.

Introduce yourself to our readers. Who are you? Where are you from? What style of music do you create?

Hello everybody. My name is Zachary Sticker, I am a music artist and I’m currently 20 years old. I live in Staten Island, NY. I like to work on my desktop computer, making electronic music, as well as recording instruments (Mostly drums) and making metal/rock music.

What should we expect when we click play on your new album, Malfunction?

Expect an intense, disorienting blast of glitch sound which starts the album.

Was there anything specific you were trying to accomplish creatively on this new project?

I was hoping to show the fragile side of life. The side that is easily distorted, easily changes, malfunction, takes you in new unexpected directions and surprises you. I also wanted to expand my musical horizons and experiment with new sounds.

Who or what inspires you and influences your creativity? What motivates you to keep making music?

I’m a big fan of Devin Townsend. His proficiency at making so many quality albums over his career and his passion for music definitely inspire me. Also my drive to experiment and to try making different types of music mirrors his varied discography.

Where can our readers connect with you online? Where can we stream more music?

I have a website: zachary-sticker.com. There you can add your e-mail to the mail list for updates and news. You can listen to audio previews on the site as well. Also you can follow me on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/zacharystickermusic
If you want to send me an e-mail, my e-mail is: zacharysticker@gmail.com

What’s in store for 2016? Any new releases, big events, tours?

I am hoping to eventually create physical copies of the album to sell on amazon, as well as promotional t-shirts.

Any last thoughts? Words of wisdom? Shout outs?

We only have one life to live. So lets take the time we have on this earth to love each other, and make our lives beautiful.
