As a youngin Jay-Bones got named lil bones after his older cuzin but soon after the movie “Bones” starting snoop dogg he got the name Jimmie Bones because of his doings in the streets But Drawing, Arts, and football was his first loves and interest until at the age of 13 when he pick up his first cd he actually listen to he found in his house 2pac All Eyez On Me when the first track he heard was Ambitionz Az A Ridah it blew him away with lyrics he never heard before it immediatly made him start writing rhymes Jay-Bones was writing rhymes for at least 3 years until a friend introduced him to a person nicknamed Sly-J where he did his first recordings at Sly-J’s house Sly-J like how he made music and started to invite him over more often and also open his ear 2 more than one genre of music.

As the collective attention span shrinks, Eddie Canyon finds himself searching for meaning within the noise. Reaching into and around his Arkansas roots, Eddie carves a distinctively southern Hip Hop undercurrent in his exploratory approach to music. Weaving tales of battling addiction, thoughts on spirituality, and irreverent social commentary into his lyrics, Eddie aims to intrigue his audience at the least, and at most, leave them with a liberating degree of thoughtfulness.
