Jolie C Bell To Take The Stage At I Am What I Am Festival August 18th

by Joshua (J.Smo) Smotherman August 3, 2012 10:00 am Tagged With: Acoustic, Americana, Folk, Roots

Jolie C Bell

Jolie C Bell will take the Autism Rocks Stage at 2:50 PM on August 18th during the I Am What I Am Music Festival and Autism Benefit in Shelbyville, Tennessee.

Bio

Jolie C. Bell is a roots-influenced Americana singer/songwriter from Christiana, Tennessee. Her music is raw and organic and it’s sure to remind you of that dirt road you grew up on. Nothing less than brilliant, “I Am Not A Stone” is a remarkable song written by Jolie that seems to sum up exactly who she is as a person and artist. She’ll make you wanna walk down that dirt road again, this time barefoot like you used to before shoes mattered. “Kuntry Girl Thang” shows us the real honesty of Jolie C. Bell, the same honesty you’ll find in a Sunday morning church service or a relationship that didn’t work or in a hard days work.

Jolie seems to devote more time to others than herself. She’s a registered nurse, photographer and free-hearted philanthropist. Her music draws us toward her and keeps us wanting more. Most importantly, Jolie C. Bell’s music is about being real.
