With shimmering four track debut EP Glitter, Kenzy Kyx makes a statement that’s both playful and purposeful.
The project is compact but deliberate, a body of work that balances glossy hooks with raw emotion and shows off a young artist confident enough to take risks while still delivering undeniable pop appeal.
Listen here:
The EP opens with “Taking It Easy”, a sassy and infectious song with clever lyrics and a chorus designed to stick in your head.
The title track, “Glitter,” pushes things even further into bold, euphoric territory. With its layered synths, groovy basslines, and subtle nods to disco, the song is a burst of technicolor – a sparkling invitation to embrace transformation and revel in your own shine.
Kenzy also proves she’s unafraid to reinterpret the familiar. Her take on No Doubt’s “Don’t Speak” threads vulnerability into the EP’s otherwise glittering textures. While Gwen Stefani’s original is iconic, Kenzy finds a fresh angle. It’s a gutsy move on a debut EP – and it works, showing she can hold her own against pop classics while weaving them into her narrative of growth and release.
Closing the set is a more intimate cut, with “I’m So Glad”. This song is a celebration of liberation, capturing the exact moment you realize walking away is the best thing you ever did.
In a pop landscape often saturated with heartbreak ballads, Kenzy’s approach is refreshing and she makes empowerment sound almost like a party. This song rounds out the EP with a sense of balance, proving that beneath the playful bravado and sparkling anthems is an artist with depth, range and a clear desire to connect on multiple levels.

At just four songs, Glitter manages to feel like both a proper introduction and a teaser for what’s to come for Kenzy Kyx.
Taking much of her inspiration from pop icons like Harry Styles, Gwen Stefani and Sabrina Carpenter, Kenzy Kyx emerges with her own distinct blend of sass, heart and sparkle.
With this debut, Kenzy is not just adding glitter to the pop landscape but is re-writing it with her own charm.
