What You Should Do Now

If you or your band has their own website, its time for you to do as much as you can to search engine optimize your site.

Think about phrases you want to rank high for when people are on the search for new music.

An example would be “murfreesboro jazz bands”.  If you are a band from Murfreesboro, look through your site and see how much of your content includes the words jazz and Murfreesboro.  Are they included in the Titles of your pages? Meta Tags? Image Names?

Something as simple as including the City and State on your show schedule page would suffice, assuming you are playing shows in Murf.
