Award-winning singer-songwriter Laura Baron returns with Beauty In The Broken, an album of eight original songs that navigate life’s complexities with raw vulnerability and grace. The collection also includes a fresh take on the classic “Dream A Little Dream,” weaving Laura’s signature blend of contemporary folk, indie acoustic, and jazz into the mix.

The title track, “Beauty In The Broken,” was inspired by a conversation Laura had with fellow musician, Dave, which led to a reflection on life’s imperfections and the healing power of vulnerability.

Laura shares:
“The first line came from Dave asking me, ‘What would it be like if you were on the outside looking in? What would you see?’ That question hit me deeply. I imagined an empty room where someone is calling my name, trying to reach me. I felt despair at first, but then I saw a shattered jewel. There was beauty in the broken—light streaming through the cracks. The song became about the healing I feel when I let someone in, when I allow myself to be truly seen. It’s a reminder that even in our most vulnerable moments, there’s beauty—and light—waiting to be found.”

Throughout the album, Laura addresses themes like mental health, addiction, and isolation with a quiet sense of optimism. Her warm, soulful vocals and emotionally resonant lyrics guide listeners through each track, offering connection and comfort in the face of life’s darkest moments.

Produced by Marco Delmar, Beauty In The Broken showcases Laura’s intricate guitar work and emotive vocals, enhanced by a rich musical palette.
