Los Angeles based singer/songwriter Lauren Waller has delivered an upbeat and catchy new single titled Quicksand.

A danceable rhythm joins forces with a melodically rich, electro-infused soundbed and Waller’s powerful, soulful performance for a strong, radio-friendly, pop jam that has the power to suck listeners in like the natural forces of Quicksand.

Lyrically focused on relationships, specifically realizing you are at fault for their failure, Quicksand is a memorable song with which each of us can easily relate. Unless you lack self-awareness, but that’s for another time.

About her new single, Lauren shares,

Quicksand is about a girl (really, about myself) realizing that she has power in relationships, but at the same time: realizing she’s the cause of all her relationships failing.  She is quicksand pulling people in whether it be disastrous or not! This song is about being dynamic, being bold, and owning who you are as a person, but checking yourself and your flaws before it’s too late and you start to sink too.”
