Let It Go by Eileen Carey

by Joshua (J.Smo) Smotherman December 27, 2014 8:47 am Tagged With: Country, Los Angeles, Nashville, Pop, singer, songwriter, United States

Let It Go by Eileen Carey If you missed our interview with Eileen, make sure you check that out. Her single “Bottle Your Crazy Up” recently made it to the top of the New Music Weekly Country Charts.

What’s the best thing about Eileen Carey?

She has personality. She has spunk. She is charming. When you combine these things with a fun-loving approach to creating music, nothing is going to be able to stop you…or her rather.

Eileen Carey is an Ohio girl but spends her time working in Los Angeles and Nashville. On her new album, she delivers a strong statement about doing one thing humans need to do a lot more often…Let It Go.

“I always try to give people different options as a way to look at things,” Eileen says. “Because, unfortunately, this world’s been up and down and if I can get them to think about things that maybe they haven’t before, then maybe they can “Let It Go” and get to a better place in their life.”

With an album full of radio ready singles tracked in Nashville and produced by Travis Allen Childress; Let It Go should be in the collection of any one who enjoys their music with a little western, a little pop, and a lot of rockin’ country.

Her chart rising single “Bottle Your Crazy Up” tells the story of a woman re-entering the dating pool. You can watch the video below.

A few more note-worthy treats on this album include: “Only The Lonely” (a cover of the 1982 hit by The Motels), “Walking On Sunshine” released by Katrina and The Waves in 1985, as well as a cover of “Don’t Get Me Wrong” from The Pretenders circa 1986.

With 2 Los Angeles Music Awards, a Producer’s Choice Award, and a South Bay Music Award, Eileen Carey’s career has been nothing short of excellence.

Growing up in the outskirts of Cleveland, Eileen was an accomplished drummer by age 13. She eventually headed to the West Coast in the late ’80s where she began studying acting, film and theater. She now bounces back and forth between L.A. and Nashville as her career continues to blossom.

Go support Eileen by grabbing a copy of the album. You can connect with her on FB or Twitter.
