Portland, Oregon based Major Love Event is the dynamic and tight-knit duo consisting of Rebecca Van Damm and C.K. Koch who have been long-time friends. They recently released their latest single Sandy Sound.

Beautiful, attention grabbing melodies, plenty of pop sensibility, and the versatility of this duo is present and accounted for in the electro, alt-pop (with a slight feel of folk) jam. The electric sound that kicks off the song comes equipped with some super sweet tone.

Sandy Sound starts off simple and minimalistic but quickly begins building as the song progresses. By the time we reach the 3:00 mark, it’s time for take off. The sounds build, the energy increases and you can feel the intensity as Rebecca begins singing harder and with more passion and impact than during the preceding minutes.

This jam is a winner! Major Love Event has my attention now.
