Steve Markoff and Patricia Lazzara Take On A Memorable 80s Hit with Their Classical Rendition of “Take On Me”

Steve Markoff and Patricia Lazzara-Take On Me

One of our favorite instrumental power duos, Steve Markoff and Patricia Lazzara, have returned with the announcement of their upcoming release Take On Me. I should correct myself and mention this song is performed by one of our favorite power trios as pianist Allison Brewster Franzetti joins once again!

Yes ladies and gentlemen…yes, if you lived through the 80s and your brain automatically began singing to itself the memorable and infectious hit single that goes something like “taaaaakkkkkkeeeeee oooooonnnnnn mmmmmmeeeeeeee…” Then we are definitely surfing on the same wavelengths, my friends!

Pause for a moment to sing it with me!

Ok, ok..moving on. 🙂

Lazzarkoff (Markoff + Lazzara) have created a calm, soothing, flute-infused, instrumental cover of A-ha’s major hit song, Take On Me!

It couldn’t have hit my inbox at a more appropriate time. My 12 year old plays keys in the 80s New Wave band at our local School of Rock. I’ve been spending quite a bit of time learning 80s jams on guitar so I can encourage him to practice more often. You know this song cannot be passed over when discussing 80s hits!

I’ve probably said this before, but if I’m going to listen to instrumental flute music…I’m most likley listening to Lazzarkoff!

We’ve been featuring their music for a long time so there’s no need to reiterate the top shelf quality to expect when Take On Me finally drops.

This gem will not be available until January 3rd. However, you can find it as well as other releases on HearNow.
