Layer in the twin guitars of Peter Oravetz and Daniel Groover, the burning organ from Michael Lemmler and Doug Belote’s unfussy, confident drums and you have a rhythm section that doesn’t just move but convinces you to come on the ride.

But it’s definitely MASSEY’s voice that seals the deal. His vocals are delivered straight and you can hear the man who has lived through the night, through the trials of life.

He repeats the phrase “the comeback is always sweeter,” a line inspired by his father.
