Matt Oestreicher has traveled the musical universe allowing his creative sensibilities to absorb an eclectic palette of musical styles including, but not limited to: funk, soul, jazz, R&B, rock, third stream, kirtan, and avant-garde.

On his journey, Matt has worked and performed with an amazing list of musical talents. You might recognize a few names: Stevie Wonder, Dionne Warwick, Cee-Lo Green, Will i Am, Weird Al, Jon Bon Jovi, Paul Shaffer, Alicia Keys, Snoop Dogg, John Legend, Talib Kweli, Esperanza Spalding, Krishna Das, and Anita Baker, among many others.

Yes, I really did just drop all “those names” in connection to Matt Oestreicher’s career!

With all that behind him, what does he do now? For one, he works as arranger, keyboardist and guitarist for the world famous Apollo Amateur Night Band. It’s also worth mentioning he was lead guitarist for Beautiful The Musical: The Carole King Broadway Show. He also has a podcast called The Mindful Musician!

Matt’s latest single is titled Soul Doctor. Matt is the doctor and his music is the medicine. Or maybe the music is the doctor’s medicine and he is generous enough to share with us.
