W.H.Y.G.O.D.W.H.Y. Album Cover-300Happy Tooth and Dug:
Our debut album W.H.Y.G.O.D.W.H.Y. is an acronym which stands for“Waking Hurts You, Go On Dreaming, We’ll Help You” 13:13 and can be conceptually summed up as “A rousing argument against pessimism… and also hope”

Hip-hop turned on its head!

Released ‘Scattered Keeses’ earlier in the year. It meant a lot as a new act to get such a positive reaction.

Since then the group have had a great summer in England playing at FolkEast and Ipswich Maritime Festivals 2014

Good Old-fashioned Rock-n-Roll for the soul

can be classified as heavy metal or rock. We end up exploring different subgenres within our songs, not always intentionally at first — we just write whatever feels natural to us.

Heavy heavy heavy and heavy! Keep an eye on these guys!

Audience and Panel comments:

  • Great show tonight. Great panel. Great tunes.  This is a definite awesome way to meet good like-minded folks while listening cutting edge indie music.
  • My old lungs nearly left before I got new ones!
  • LOVE IT!!!!! I’LL LISTEN TO IT ON MY WAY TO HEAVEN …..NEW LUNGS….. THEN RUN LIKE THE WIND ..IT GIVES ME THAT PUSH AT MY BACK AND IN MY SOUL ……
  • I like the transitions; they are very interesting.
  • This song sounds like Train meets Coldplay
    very alt-rock sound
  • Mumford & sons, love them, but this is close & more cooler
  • This made ERIC KERSHNER CRY LIKE A BABY
  • Last night’s discussion of +Beginat Zero was so fun I don’t want to edit a word!
  • +Dusty Bradshaw said it best, kudos to them for choosing to submit to us, that takes balls,
  •  Listening to new music as a group has a bit different take than it does just listening alone.  I like throwing ideas out there off the top of my head. Even if they may not be accurate, I am still dialed in to what something sounds a kin to. I always compare a song or artist to music I am familiar with or have heard at one point in time.  For example, on Joel Strauss’ ‘Don’t Lose that Feeling,’ most of the panel agreed that he has the Billy Corgan and/or Oasis thing going on with his sound.  Great tune by the way.
  • If you haven’t read the reviews of Begin at Zero from Music Emissions or I Probably Hate Your Band then look them up…  Now that I’m reading these comments and picking up there must have been some further fun discussion about this band, I’ll have to wait to watch this one before I write my review.
  •  It has such a powerful message, so many really, very deep meaning that it can touch the toughest. I’ve listened again a few times.
  • oh, I am already loving this one!  Huge fan of LBT, and this brings them to mind!  Love this one…Very pretty ~~ teasing, and then BAM!  leaves me wanting to experience it again!  Great to me…  T*   Oh yeah, and  ( Whomever growled, do that again! ! ! )  🙂
